"Dinosaur George" Blasing

My new favorite dinosaur books are by "Dinosaur George" Blasing. They are really well done and super up-to-date (I love all the new artist renditions of dinos with feathers). In fact, the brand-new herbivore book doesn't even come out until September 22nd! Happily, I have early access to a copy, since I'm an advance reviewer, so I can tell you already what dinos are included.

I don't know why they are titled "my first book" because they're certainly not early readers or babyish. They have lots of facts. Perfect for grades 1-3, which is when Montessori schools do The Timeline of Life. I found them fascinating. They are packed with lots of dinosaurs I'd never ever heard of!

There are 30 dinosaurs covered in each book, which means you'll have info on 60 if you get them both. Which I did. I should actually probably get two copies of each so that I can put them in distance learning tote bags this year.

Here are the dinosaurs included in the herbivores book, which is coming out on September 22, 2020:
