Eating with Your Heart in Mind
I found a workbook-type curriculum at our school which I'm using a follow-up to the Health unit we did in the Fall. It's called "Eating with Your Heart in Mind." It's a brightly colored workbook so, although ERIC has the full contents online as a free pdf, theirs is a photocopy version and some pages are hard to read. However, I pass the link along because some of the pages could be used as fun worksheets. I am going to copy pages 21, 22, 26, 27, 29, 32, 33, 35, and 36 of the pdf. These include a word find, word scramble, connect the dots, a board game, a sheet to help you pack your own healthy lunch, and more. The focus is on making healthy food choices and, specifically, on avoiding cholesterol and saturated fat.
