    Indoor Play Time - Pterodactyls explore finger puppets, Plastic Utensils play "Art School" and do a lesson on how to draw eyes

    Art History: Mary Blair - read I Can Fly (1950s) and The Up and Down Book (1960s), both illustrated by Mary Blair, and look at examples of her non-Disney work

    Morning Math ages 10 & 11 - continue with Basic Skills Daily Practice (Wednesday is multiplication) using the Checker Board as needed

    Morning Math age 13 - Square Root Algorithm

    Business Letters - KLL draft business letter to Site Superintendent at Giant City State Park about handicap access at Group Camp (requesting that a ramp be built on either side of the bridge in lieu of the existing stone steps)

    Fables at Snack - The Donkey and the Load of Salt, The Boys and the Frogs

    Read Aloud at Lunch - Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll, chapter 11, Who Stole the Tarts?

    Afternoon Work Time - individual projects including Handwork, writing 2023 calendar numbers for Mar & May (they accidentally skipped Apr), finishing morning math work, playing educational games

    Games - Rhyme Out, Whatchamadrawit, Lion in My Way, Da Vinci's Challenge

Thursday, Dec 1

    Morning Math age 7 - finish Multiplication Mosaic math problems and solve puzzle

    Morning Math ages 10 & 11 - continue with Basic Skills Daily Practice (Thursday is division) using the Racks & Tubes as needed

    Friday's section is miscellaneous problems; since we don't meet for school on Fridays we use those for Early Finishers (this week the Friday problems were Order of Operations and Equivalent Fractions)

    Morning Math age 13 - continue with Square Root Algorithm (comparing different methods)

    First Play Planning Meeting - recall the 20 fables, evaluate each for being Puppetry Possible, narrow down the list of ones we want to do, brainstorm ideas and make sketches
