I don't know why they are titled "my first book" because they're certainly not early readers or babyish. They have lots of facts. Perfect for grades 1-3, which is when Montessori schools do The Timeline of Life. I found them fascinating. They are packed with lots of dinosaurs I'd never ever heard of!
There are 30 dinosaurs covered in each book, which means you'll have info on 60 if you get them both. Which I did. I should actually probably get two copies of each so that I can put them in distance learning tote bags this year.
