Book Share Apr 1

Gov. Pritzker has extended the shelter at home order and school closures for the month of April, so it looks like we will continue to do this for a while! A weekly Zoom chat to share what books kids are reading, and if they would recommend them to others, is really fun! Different people come each time. And everyone leaves with lots of new ideas. We even had a child share the pages from his dictionary. It was very sweet! And one boy confided to all of us that Hilo: The Boy Who Crashed to Earth was the very first book he read all by himself. The kids had a great time talking about their favorite books. Looking forward to next week!
