This year April 22 fell on a Friday and we had beautiful weather for a well-loved Southern Illinois tradition: the Carbondale All Species Puppet Parade.
Zac showed off the fabulous tiger puppet Leah made several years ago.
Here are some other cool animal puppets we saw. I really loved the dragonfly, the vulture, the moth, and the monarch caterpillar!
My First Grade group is doing the Archetypal Professions block this month.
I think that Earth Day is a nice tie-in with the Protector archetype!
