Favorite Board Games ages 9-12

I was recently talking to a homeschool consulting client who is working on taking screens out of her home. She is looking to spend her curriculum budget this year on building up a great collection of board games! Here are the games that have been a favorite here with 9 to 12 year olds (Montessori Upper Elementary).

If you have other suggestions, please share!

Lastly, you can always buy spinners, dice, sand timers, and a blank board game and challenge your kids to make up their own! Or take the pieces out of some old games that weren't a hit and create a mash-up new game!

We love Senet, the ancient Dgyptian game. I would also recommend Carcasonne, which we played recently. Thanks for the great suggestions!
