Migration Books & Poetry

In National Geographic's classroom lesson on Cardinal Directions and Maps, they suggest starting out the activity with a Migration Poem. I actually really like the idea of reading a migration poem but I don't at all like the one they picked.

Migration is a topic which perfectly connects our Monarch project in Nature Study with our exploration of the compass in Mapmaking. And talking about poems leads us beautifully into our Chancery Script/Poetry block next week!
