Spooky Fun for October

I've come a looong way from the Not-Halloween Not-Party post (aka the Last Day of October Mild-Mannered Celebration) from Oct 30, 2017.

Notice how back then I cleverly snuck in the kickoff of Becca and Aiden's book study of Lord of the Flies by William Golding as one of the activities!

That post actually has some great creepy ideas. I still have the eyeballs from the Eyeball Toss! And we will do the Mummy Race and Bobbing for Apples.

Here are some additional Spooky Fun thoughts for the upcoming month:

Academic Work

Right now, it looks like the Plastic Utensils are leaning toward two topics for their Projects of Personal Interest month in October. One group is interested in learning about Alchemy. Another group is interested in doing a Creative Writing block. Both of those lend themselves well to mysterious creepy fun!
