Drawer Labels

I now have two girls who are sharing clothes. One is a size 7 and one is a size 8 and many clothes are 7/8. What to do? We organized the clothes between their two dressers and now it is time to label each dresser drawer so everyone can remember what is where. You can buy drawer labels for kids (for $9.50), you can download clothing clipart (and risk having your computer infected with who-knows-what), you can draw your own, OR you can have your children draw the little pieces of clothing and simply use some inexpensive Clear Contact Paperto safely affix the paper pictures to the wood.

Guess which route we are going to take?

I think the girls will like making their own little drawings, coloring and cutting them out, and sticking the labels on their drawers. It seems like a very fun -- and useful -- craft project. Who knows? We may even organize and label my kitchen!
