Ellen Stoll Walsh

I was so lucky to find little wooden mice at Michael's for this Art project. And, happily, it was also a perfect fit to our Energy unit discussion of Light and Color.

This was our final week of projects from the Paint chapter of Storybook Art. Next week we move on to Draw.

You can actually buy little rubber or plastic mice at the pet store (look in the cat toys section; you don't want to buy one of the warm little mice that wiggle all around).

And, yes, this is completely irrelevant, but while searching for plastic mice online, I found this hilarious (parody) website: Plastic Mouse. It had me in stitches.
