How Did Settlers Make Gunpowder?

I first looked this up when I was watching Jamestown, but I've saved the tab open on my computer for quite some time because I am teaching U.S. History this year. (If you're teaching U.S. History in Waldorf grade 8 as well, join the Ruzuku course and we can plan together and share favorite ideas!)

Ruzuku Course: A Year-Long Study of U.S. History

cohort limited to 25

lifetime access
$50.00

In September we will be beginning with Colonial America, so this link will be particularly relevant:

I also SO appreciate knowing exactly what Abigail Adams and the other women had to do for John Adams in order to send him all that saltpetre in 1776: The Musical!

It is a tall challenge in Waldorf to get the 8th grader from the Age of Revolution at the start of the year all the way up to Current Events on the last day of school. But I am excited for this year and having fun planning...

And this course is unique because it includes 10 live Zoom "work sessions" where we focus on planning for the coming month. First one is tomorrow!
