HOH: ECE (Reggio Emilia, Montessori, and Waldorf Comparison)

It was really fun being interviewed by a local television station on Monday about Homeschool Without Borders, our monthly gathering at the public library to provide support for homeschooling families. If you'd like to see the news item, it is here:

One of things I've been meaning to do in the blog is list my notes for the Hands-On Homeschooling sessions I've also been leading at the public library (weekly on Tuesdays). It's a series of 10 sessions, but I am only leading 7 of them. The other speakers are Abbie Kruse, Amy Welling, and Trish Morelli!

I already shared some notes inspired by Abbie's talk on the blog here:

Hands-On Homeschooling: Flying Squads

The last Hands-On Homeschooling series I led was in 2017; I found it so helpful to look through my notes from those sessions when planning these (and deciding what to pack) that I decided to make notes for myself again.

All three models support child-sized real tools so children can help out.

Here are the notes from my previous workshop on this topic.

I would be happy to give another presentation on this subject via Zoom; if you are interested, please email me or let me know in the comments!
