look at examples of articulated and non-articulated puppets from my collection (marionette duck, felt finger puppet mouse, All-Species Puppet Parade tiger, professional quality Hansel & Gretel marionettes)
SWI - recall that < article > comes from the Latin word for "part" and wonder whether it is related to < articulated > (it is!)
