cover seventh paper with salt, needlefelt table puppets of Little Snow-White and the seven dwarves (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet)
- have children solve the riddle for seven
- move salt to reveal Roman and Arabic numerals for 7
- read and perform "From Big Voice to Tiny Voice" poem from Verses and Poems and Stories to Tell by Dorothy Harrer
- rhythmical movement - the Elf Beatrix
- rhythmical movement - the Witch Raven
- discuss What is Seven?
- stick jumping activity from Ancient Hearth with driftwood pieces and masking tape Roman numerals on the floor, counting 1 to 7 forwards and backwards and the days of the week forwards and backwards
- tell story of Little Snow-White with needle-felted figures
- practice drawing VII and 7 in the salt tray
- add VII and 7 to MLB
- add colored pencil drawing of seven dwarves in seven rainbow colors to MLB
- hear eighth riddle
